FarmerFriend Rules, Regulations & Income Plan

This document explains the FarmerFriend / Information Collector role, work system, income plan, required documents, code of conduct and cancellation conditions under SCPL Swayampurna Gaon Vikas Prakalp.

1. FarmerFriend Role & Responsibility

FarmerFriend / Information Collector is a village-level representative responsible for connecting farmers with the SCPL digital platform. The role includes farmer registration, document collection, data entry, crop-wise records, expense records, crop photos, production data, sales data and farmer balance sheet support.

  • Collect basic farmer and land information.
  • Verify farmer and land documents.
  • Create farmer accounts on the digital platform.
  • Record land, crop, expenses, photos, production and sales information.
  • Upload required documents, bills, photos and certificates.
  • Prepare crop-wise farmer balance sheets.
  • Coordinate with SCPL, FPOs and service providers.
  • Inform farmers about schemes, services and market opportunities.
  • Update data regularly.

2. Working System

FarmerFriend shall work through the SCPL digital platform and follow the data collection process approved by SCPL. FarmerFriend shall support farmers in registration, crop data, input demand, machinery booking, crop photo update, production record and marketing-related entries.

Data Work

Farmer profile, land record, crop planning, input expenses, labour expenses and crop photos.

Service Work

Input demand collection, machinery booking, crop insurance support and market linkage.

3. Self-Motivation Income Plan

Each FarmerFriend will initially be given a target of registering 200 farmers. Income plan will become applicable only after completing 200 farmer registrations and maintaining regular data updates.

  • Income starts only after completing 200 farmer registrations.
  • From the 201st farmer account onwards, ₹100 per month per account incentive may apply.
  • Income depends on data maintenance, quality of work and farmer activity.
  • Incorrect information, incomplete data or inactive accounts may affect income.

5. Required Documents

  • Aadhaar card / PAN card / driving licence

  • Computer knowledge certificate, if available

  • Cancelled cheque
  • Address proof
  • Local recommendation or self-declaration letter, if required

Farmer Documents

  • Proof of being a farmer
  • 7/12 land extract
  • 8A account extract
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Aadhaar card or identity proof
  • Bank account proof
  • Lease agreement, if land is rented
  • Bills or proof related to crops, expenses, sales and services

6. Rules & Code of Conduct

  • FarmerFriend must follow SCPL rules and code of conduct strictly.
  • Farmer information must be kept confidential.
  • False information must not be entered into the system.
  • No unauthorised fee should be collected from farmers.
  • FarmerFriend must not participate in village politics or groupism while performing SCPL work.
  • All farmers must be treated equally.
  • SCPL digital system rules must be followed.
  • Data must be updated on time.
  • Farmers must be clearly informed about schemes, services, conditions and charges.

7. Cancellation / Termination Conditions

SCPL may cancel appointment, suspend access or stop income/incentives if any of the following issues are found:

  • Misbehaviour with farmers, SCPL staff or partners.
  • Incorrect records or false data entry.
  • Financial irregularity or unauthorised fee collection.
  • Misuse of farmer information or documents.
  • Incomplete data maintenance or inactive farmer accounts.
  • Violation of SCPL digital system rules.

8. FarmerFriend Declaration

I confirm that I have read and understood the FarmerFriend rules, responsibilities, income plan, document requirements and code of conduct. I agree to maintain correct data, protect farmer information, follow SCPL instructions and work honestly for farmer development and village-level digital agriculture.
